Description
The Sea Lion is a rock formation found in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. Named so as it once appeared as a lion (with mane) sitting by the edge of the waters of Lake Superior. After a great storm, the head of the lion broke off and fell to the waters below. It remains a popular hiking spot for locals and tourists of Thunder Bay to visit.
